What TULMODO records, and why

TULMODO is a study companion, not a data business. This page says in plain English what the site records when you use it, why, and how long it is kept.

No accounts, no names

There are no accounts. Your notebook, study progress, and conversation history live in your own browser and never leave it. The site does not collect your name, email address, or exact location, and it does not store IP addresses in its analytics.

Anonymous usage analytics

To understand which pages help and where learners get stuck, the site counts visits with a random anonymous identifier stored in your browser. Each visit records the pages viewed, the path you took between them, the time spent, the page you arrived from, any campaign tags in the address bar (for example “utm_source”, used to see which shared link brought you here), your country, and a coarse device and browser class (for example “mobile, Safari”). None of this identifies you. If your browser sends the Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the site honors it and records nothing at all.

Questions to MALPHONO are logged

When you ask MALPHONO a question, the question and its answer are logged with the same anonymous identifier, together with the sources cited and how long the answer took. The site’s maintainer reviews these logs to find questions the library answers poorly, fix retrieval mistakes, and improve the corpus.

Because questions may be read by a person, please do not include private personal information in them. Ask about the liturgy, not about yourself or others by name.

Retention

Logged questions and answers are kept for 90 days and then expire automatically. Aggregate counts (visits per day, most-read pages) are kept longer, but contain no identifiers and no question text.
